@Lithiumz …. I agree his view is realistic. But to honestly be a person with independant thought and to be surrounded by human cattle your entire life is going to leave a chip on your shoulder, is it not ? The statement I originally made was not for a person such as yourself who thinks, it was for the type of person who actually thinks true comedy is Jay Leno, Sinbad, or some random shit like that . So then they comment on his emotion instead of the subject becuse they can’t feel themselves.

@pinktac0o not even remotely fair. im agnostic so if i die and some huge cloud of smoke and a shining light goes oh btw was here all the time il be like yeah soz wasnt totaly convinced.
but no. its not fair. my dads really christian. he’s not retarded. he’s just been brought up with a set of beliefs and he sees no reason to think otherwise. but he doesnt sit on his arse yelling all science is phony.

@alicePlagueDoctor the word is considered a disability but I see it more of a virus that infects the mind at a early age and to break awake takes some serious thinking and questioning, not everyone is ready. its not just your dad my mother is the same christian to the bone im a lost soul to her. but im fine i know what i want out of life and know my self and my abilities.

the sad thing is we prob have atheist leaders right now who could step forward and but they wont because the christian right would never reelect them. this makes no sense conidering our founding fathers(most of them anyway) were secular atheists and deists at best. hell tomas jefferson re-wrote the bible and took all of the magic hocus pocus out of it so that jesus was just a normal man which is all he ws, thats even if he ever existed in the first place. End religion end war.
